Distribuição temporal da leptospirose nas macrorregiões brasileiras e sua relação com a pluviosidade

The aim is to describe the temporal distribution of leptospirosis in macro-regions and your relationship with rainfall in the period from 2005 to 2014. This is a descriptive exploratory study, which used multivariate statistics to treat data service of cases of leptospirosis of Brazilian capitals obtained in SINAN, rainfall in INMET and socioeconomic and demographic, environmental obtained in the IBGE and Brazil Atlas. The Brazil recorded in the period from 2005 to 2014 1 39,653 total cases of the disease. In the study period annual rainfall ranged from 56.2 mm ³ to 314.6 mm ³. The study showed the relationship of leptospirosis with precarious conditions socio-economic, demographic, and environmental, that associated with climate change and the lack of public policies aimed at mitigation, contribute to an increase in cases.
