Abstract

Objective: Search the scientific literature for evidence that points to nursing care for patients affected by COVID-19. Method: This is an integrative literature review, carried out by searching for studies in the databases Pubmed, Lilacs, Bdeenf and Scielo, whose corpus of analysis was 10 articles. Results: In the present research, some points are attributed relevance, allowing to identify the necessary actions for nursing care to the patient affected by COVID-19. The study points out conducts with a focus: on the prevention and control of Covid 19; guidance and care for the elderly, pregnant women, puerperal women and newborns; care and guidance to the patient and family in Primary Health Care, among other recommendations. Conclusion: Reinforces the importance of building protocols and scientific studies that are based on nursing care in facing this pathology, providing humanized and quality care to patients with Covid-19.
