Initially, pregnant women did not belong to the risk group for Covid-19, but studies show unfavorable maternal and neonatal outcomes in moderate and severe forms. Analysis and comparison of maternal outcomes of pregnant women affected by Covid-19 during hospitalization in a tertiary maternity hospital. Descriptive, cross-sectional, documentary, retrospective research, quantitative approach that seeks to correlate events and possible factors associated with the main theme. Sample composed of all women with pregnancy resolution while they had active coronavirus infection from January 2020 to July 2021 in a maternity hospital in Fortaleza. A young profile with less than 30 years of age was identified, most with a gestational age in the third trimester and without comorbidities, but the main chronic conditions were hypertension, asthma and obesity, which was associated with the evolution to severe acute respiratory syndrome. Covid-19 has been associated with higher rates of cesarean sections and premature births. Fetal repercussions: prematurity, low birth weight, suffering and fetal growth restriction.
