Abstract

The study´s aim was to quantify the number of remote visits realized during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil and to relate the historical landmarks of the disease in the country. This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative study that used information from a health integrator´s database. As the disease increases exponentially in the country, the visits number realized by health`s team increased 76%. It is concluded that telemedicine is founded as an important way to secure access and care continuity.
