Desafios no processo de trabalho de médicos e enfermeiros em unidade de pronto atendimento

Abstract

The aim was to identify the challenges in the work process of doctors and nurses in ER unit. Descriptive study of qualitative approach, carried out with 16 health professionals, nine doctors and seven nurses from a unit of ready attendance of a municipality in
the Northwest region of the State of Paraná. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, analyzed the light of the methodological referential of Bardin. The results showed that the mishaps in the work process of doctors and nurses in ER unit involve aspects of the organization of the health care network, the user's understanding level on health services and conduct of the professionals of the service. Suggested investments in primary health care and in the pit, in addition to a distinguished look for ER units, with further studies aimed at this issue.
