Características Maternas y Neonatales: Comparación del Período Prepandémico y de la Pandemia Covid-19

Comparar las características maternas y neonatales en los períodos prepandémico y pandémico del Covid-19 en el estado de Paraná. Métodos: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo con abordaje cuantitativo, basado en datos del Sistema de Información de Nacidos Vivos de 2019 y 2020 en el estado de Paraná. Los datos fueron recolectados en septiembre de 2022. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva, test chi cuadrado de Pearson para comparar los años
y medida V de Cramer para evaluar la asociación entre variables. El estudio fue autorizado bajo los informes no 3.032.650/2018 y no 5.620.752/2022. Resultados: Se registraron 298.818 nacimientos en Paraná. Comparando los años 2019 y 2020, hubo diferencias significativas a un nivel de significación del 5%, pero al evaluar el tamaño y los coeficientes de efecto, la asociación entre los dos años es muy débil (<0,05). Conclusión: La pandemia de COVID-19 no afectó las características maternas y neonatales. Los resultados contribuyen a la mejora de las acciones sanitarias.
